Intensely personal, small batch coffee roasting

Hello, David here.
Back when I was living with my family, my parents would invite what seemed like the whole neighborhood over to the house every other day. We’d always serve them great coffee, pulled by yours truly! The number of guests grew and grew until I realized that the only way we could continue to serve good coffee was to either win the lottery or roast our own.
Winning a lottery?
Thankfully I didn’t win the lottery. 2 years later I was roasting coffee for friends, family and my entire office when a good friend offered to pay for my roast and the rest is history.

Of roasting
I roast because I fell in love with the smells, sounds, and the artistry of it all. That's why I still only roast 6 ounces at a time, everything by hand. That does mean it takes two full roasts for each order but I’ve decided to keep roasts the same size as when I started out roasting for just my family and friends. My hope is that you enjoy this coffee as much as I’ve enjoyed roasting it!
Our Values
One. We don't roast before you order.
Two. We roast small batch for each customer, 6-ounce at a time.

Ethiopia Dry Process Buno Dambi
Our current coffee offering is Ethiopia Dry Process Buno Dambi. Fruit-forward and flavorful, this dry process lot from Dambi Uddo town pulls out fruit and berry flavors and a layer of chocolate. Very nice berry tones in the profile, especially in the light roasts, and a bit more jammy as you approach City+/Full City. Brewing a City roast produced convincing fruit flavors that at first came off like dehydrated blueberries, and natural dried apricots, shifting to brighter notes of marmalade-like fruit spreads, peach preserves, and lime peel. As the coffee cooled, a floral aroma brought out a really nice 'ripe' quality in the flavors of fruits and berries. The coffee has moderate acidity for a natural, though pretty well-rounded off at Full City. This lot is certified Fair Trade and Organic.
recommended method: pour over, aero press.

Guatemala Cafeteros Decaf (12oz)
This is a very solid Guatemala whose strong origin flavors help the decaf to be tasty even after the SWP process. This process is the gentlest of all the decaf processes and the bean retains much of the flavor- which is, of course, why I got it!Each bag is 12 ounces, heat sealed in CO-venting bag with a zip-lock top.
